Get started
Get started with products.ai chat: sign in with Google or an email link, ask Pius Bot your first question for free, read the report and ask a follow-up.
Preview: products.ai chat is new. This page describes signing in and your first question as they work at launch.
From sign-in to your first answer takes four steps: sign in, ask a question, read the report, and ask a follow-up if you want more. It's free, and it all runs in your browser at products.ai/chat, so there's nothing to install.
- Go to the sign-in page.
- Continue with Google, or enter your email address and open the sign-in link we send you. There is no password.
- That's it: your account is ready, and your chats are saved in it.
The Terms and the Privacy Policy apply to your account.
In the free chat you can ask as much as you like. For a big purchase or a hard choice you can switch on Beast mode, where Pius Bot searches far more shops and sources and takes up to 3 minutes for a more thorough answer. Plans and billing explains it, including how to request it while payment isn't open yet.
Ask your first question
Ask the way you'd ask a friend who knows the category. Pius Bot turns three things into your brief: your budget, what the product is for, and what you can't do without.
- Open products.ai/chat and select New question.
- Type your question and send it. For example: "I need noise-cancelling headphones under €300 for travel. What should I buy?"
- Watch the trail: Your question, Knowledge base, Shops, Report. The status line shows when Pius is done, for example "Answered · 214 checks".
That example becomes three chips: Under €300, For travel and Noise cancelling. Each one does work. The budget alone is why the Apple AirPods Max dropped out of the example. Leave the budget out and Pius has no reason to drop a pair that costs far more than you meant to spend. More tips in Ask a good question.
Read the answer
The report opens with the pick in one line: "For travel under €300, get the Sony WH-1000XM5." Then read it in this order.
- Your brief. Check the chips first. The whole pick is built on them, so if one is wrong, fix it with a follow-up before you read further.
- Why it fits and Watch for. The reasons, and the one trade-off worth knowing.
- Where to buy. The shop Pius Bot recommends, marked as the best pick, with stock, delivery time, its price and the date it was listed.
- Why not the others. One line for each product Pius passed on.
- Citations. The numbers [1] and [2] point to the source behind a claim, such as the product's barcode record or the shop listing behind Where to buy.
When you're ready to buy, Go to store takes you to the shop. Check stock, the exact model, delivery and the price on the shop's page before you pay. That page is what counts. Read the report explains every section.
Ask a follow-up
A follow-up continues the same conversation, so you can build on the report instead of starting over.
- Select one of the suggestions under the report, such as "Compare with Momentum 4" or "Which is best for calls?"
- Or type your own in Ask a follow-up… and send it.
- To shop for something else, select New question. Your earlier questions stay under Recent in the sidebar.
The best follow-ups change one thing at a time: a lower budget, a different use, one more must-have. That way you can see exactly what moved the pick.
Where to go next
- Ask a good question: what to put in, and what to leave out.
- Where to buy: how Pius Bot picks the shop it sends you to.
- Connect your AI: get Pius's picks inside Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini instead.
